Adam J. August- Mr. August is an attorney with Holland & Knight and practices in the areas of commercial transactions and general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and business bankruptcy. Mr. August, on behalf of Holland & Knight, acts as ResTrust’s general legal counsel for all matters. Mr. August graduated from the University of Miami with a BA in Political Science and International Studies. He also received his J.D. and MBA in International Business from the University of Miami.
Abram Finkelstein- Abram Finkelstein, founder and President of StaffLink Outsourcing, Inc., has been actively involved in the PEO industry since 1994. He has served on the Florida Association of Professional Employer Organizations (FAPEO) Board of Directors since 1995 and is now serves as president. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Professional Organization Committee, which was founded to assist and educate legislators on political issues that affect PEOs in Florida. He is active in the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) and currently serves on the NAPEO Legal advisory Council and Government Affairs Committee. Abram has published numerous articles concerning legal issues that affect PEOs, the operation of PEOs and other legal issues both within and outside of the PEO industry. Abram received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He received his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. He is an attorney licensed to practice in Florida and is a commercial litigation attorney, specializing in insurance policy litigation and employment issues.
Derrick Johnson- Derrick Johnson is a Marketing Director for UPS Capital and is responsible for developing marketing segmentation strategies, launching marketing initiatives, and ensuring adequate sales support. Mr. Johnson joined UPS as the Director of Partnerships and Alliances for the e-Ventures group in December of 2001. Prior to joining UPS, Mr. Johnson was employed with Bank of America, Mercer Management Consulting and CitiGroup, where his responsibilities included Strategic Consulting and selling Institutional Fixed Income Products. Mr. Johnson graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He also obtained an MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
John I. Leonard- Mr. Leonard is a Senior Vice President with Citibank Florida and is the director of retail expansion for their North American Consumer Bank’s South Region. He joined Citibank in 1985 in New York City and has worked extensively in Human Resources Management (both domestic and international), Consumer Branch Management and Operations, Marketing, Financial Control and Loss Prevention. Mr. Leonard earned an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University in 1984 and a BA from Drew University in 1983.
Arturo Neto- Arturo Neto is an investment officer with Dimension Capital. Prior to joining Dimension Capital, Arturo spent three years as a management consultant, and has an additional seven years of experience in investment and financial analysis. Arturo is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and earned an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia, a Master of Science in Finance degree from Florida International University, and a BBA in Finance from Florida International University.
Joseph M. Palmar- Joe Palmar is the President of Palmar Consulting an outsourced accounting & financial reporting firm. From 1992-2001, Mr. Palmar served in a CFO capacity with The Diplomat Resort & Country Club, an $800 Million 1000 room hotel, country club, and convention resort, Fisher Island, and Eagle Companies. Mr. Palmar was also a manager with Ernst & Young from 1986-1992. Mr. Palmar graduated from Florida Atlantic University with an undergraduate degree in accounting and from Florida International University with a Masters degree in accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also serves on the Board of the Christian Community Foundation of South Florida.
Joshua S. Pechter- Mr. Pechter founded Cacti Asset Management (CAM), an investment firm with over $100 mil in assets, in Atlanta, GA. CAM is a research based firm with a focus on value investing. From 1997 through 2000, Mr. Pechter was the chief operating officer of a private manufacturing business with $30 million in revenues and 165 employees. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1997, phi beta kappa and magna cum laude, with a BA degree in American Studies and earned an MBA from Emory University in 2001.
Adam Pomeranz- Adam Pomeranz is the Executive Director of Annandale Village, a residential community for adults with developmental disabilities in Atlanta, Georgia. Annandale is a private nonprofit organization that serves approximately 120 adults with varying intellectual and physical disabilities within a full array of services, including a residential program, day program, and skilled nursing facility. Prior to Annandale, Pomeranz held clinical and executive positions at both acute care and residential psychiatric hospitals in the metro Atlanta area. Pomeranz earned a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Florida State University.
